He is survived by: his children, Christopher Lee Melvin and Marlana McGee; his son-in-law Danny McGee; his grandchildren, Jocelynn Melvin, Jace Melvin, Danny and McGee, Jr.; his siblings, Donald Stevens of Rockford, IL, Caryl Johnson of Hamilton, AL, Loli Holland (Ed) of Cherry Valley, IL, Billie Jo Worley of Dexter, MO and Lowonda Melvin of Iuka, MS; and his pet Gizzy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, a host of cousins.
