He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas McGowen, Sr. and Bertha McGowen. He is survived by: his son Landon McGowen of New Augusta; and his siblings, Kneale McGowen (Lynn) of New Augusta, James McGowen of New Augusta, Pamela Brewer (Rocky) of New Augusta, Janice Walters (Van) of Runnelstown and Annette McGowen of New Augusta. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
