He was predeceased by: his parents, Thalma Odell and Hazel Cuevas; and his siblings, Rita Marie Cuevas, Linda Delores Osbourn, Odell "Jax" Cuevas, Jr., Marvin "Doobie" Cuevas and Jesse Ray Cuevas.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cuevas of New Augusta; and his children, Ricky Cuevas (Toni) of Saucier, Raydale Cuevas, Kyle Cuevas (Sherrie) of D'Iberville and Violet Dean (William) of New Augusta. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
