It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raphael Sidney Waldrop of New Augusta, Mississippi, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Katherine M. Bond; his grandmother Francis S. Mills; his children, Raphael Scott Waldrop and Laura Michelle Waldrop; and his pet Bud. He was also cherished by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
It was one of his last directives that in lieu of flowers, friends and family consider making donations to the Southern Pines Animal Shelter, 1901 North 31st Avenue, Hattiesburg, Mississippi 39401.
