It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dailey of New Augusta, Mississippi, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dailey and Bessie Dailey; his son Douglas "Doug" Pittman; his grandson Jason Pemberton; and his siblings, John "J. C." Dailey, Elmo Dailey, William Dailey and Christine Dailey.
He is survived by: his wife Kaye Dailey of New Augusta; his children, Steven Pittman (Angela) of New Augusta, Elisa Pittman Bang (Brian) of New Augusta, Angie Konkel (Michael) of Robertsdale, AL, Michelle Murphy of Runnelstown, Gina Dailey of Semmes, AL and Brittany Pittman Harris (Kevin) of Janice; his great great grandchild Anastasia Rose Prescott "Anya"; and his sisters, Ruby Faircloth, Clara Hutcheson, Alma Dailey and Lillian Griggers. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
