She was predeceased by: her son Shedrick "Punk" Garner; her parents, Clifton Walters and Lillie Mae Walters; her former husband Eugene Garner; and her sister Lois Cromwell.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Stewart of New Augusta; her son Gene Garner (Kellie) of New Augusta; her siblings, Geneva Failey of Runnelstown, Althea Mills (Paul) of Runnelstown, Choice Walters of Runnelstown, Joe Walters (Sheila) of Runnelstown, Jay Walters (Liz) of Runnelstown and Kenny Walters (Janice) of Petal; and her grandson Andrew Garner (Penny) of New Augusta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
