He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Clayton and Cora Owens Clayton; his spouse Christie Diane Taylor; his stepmother Ann Clayton; and his siblings, Rolette Brock, Leo, Leon and Billy Clayton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather Roberts (Jeff) and Holly Clayton Smith (Jeff); his brothers, Beottis (Jenece) and Bobby Clayton (Angie); his sister-in-law Gail McCraw; his grandchildren, Taylor Smith (Leah), Levi Smith (Dakota), Keely Courtney (Kyle), Makenzie Hall (Jack), Clayton Smith (Caroline), Christion Smith and Malory Grace Roberts; and his great grandchildren, Drake Courtney, Greyson Smith and Jaxon Smith.
