She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Walker Latham and Fairy Mae Crumpton Latham; and her brother Gerald Latham. She is survived by: her brother Steavan Latham; her husband David K. Kent; her children, Jennifer Smith (Ken), Amanda Gates (Juston) and Ben Kent (Annie); and her grandchildren, Anna Kate, Mason, Abby Grace, Lawson Smith, Elizabeth, Caleb, Leah Gates and Lucy Kent.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (216 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
