It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Ray Mosley of New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on September 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Mosley and Ella Bea Mosley; his wife Margaret Ezell Mosley; his daughter Audrey Keys; his granddaughter Jasmine Mosley; his siblings, Annie B. Pratt, Joe Mosley, Hayes Mosley, Jamie Mosley and Ralph Mosley; and his close friend Bob Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Horne (Derek) of Philadelphia, PA, Kimberly Mosley of New Albany, MS, Jacqui Mosley of New Albany, MS, Brandon Mosley (Lovetta) of New Albany, MS, Jaylon and Kierra; his sister-in-law Mary Spears-Redmond (James); his nieces, Sarah Thomas, Tanya Nesbit (Phil) and Penny Blissett (Kelvin); his great grandchildren, Christopher Horne (Rechele), Adonnis, Samantha McAlister (Samara Phillips), Kenya Mosley, Amber McAlister, Jaleigha Mosley, Javarius "Jabo" Mosley, Jasmine Mosley, Braylee Mosley, Brandon Mosley, Jr., Christopher Collins, Takyerah Collins, Tylandius Martin, Rebecca Jewel Porter, Ra'Kesha Berry, Autumn Guydon Baldon, Brooklyn McLemore, Patrick McAllister and Mattie McAllister; his nephews, Hugh Wesley Pratt and Billy Joe Mosley; and his niece Joann Mosley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins as well as friends.
