We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2023, at the age of 85, Roy Davis Alexander (New Albany, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Alexander and Marie Bailey Alexander; his wife Doris Haynes Alexander; and his brother Roger Alexander. He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis Uzzle of Pearl, MS and Teresa A. Smith of New Albany; his grandsons, Robert Clay Pannell of Olive Branch, John Davis Grant of Pearl, Michael Alexander Grant of Pearl, Dustin Cory Broadway of New Albany, Bennett Broadway and Owen Broadway; and his sisters, Lavern Parks of New Albany and Shirley Kinpin Hinkley (Larry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
