It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Pickens (New Albany, Mississippi), who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie J. Pickens and Pearl Dunlap Pickens; and his sisters, Evalyn Littlejohn and Joyce Treadaway. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Rowland Pickens; his children, Tammy Roberts (Dan) of Blue Springs, Lisa Russell (Mark) of Saltillo and Terry Pickens (Dana) of Blue Springs; and his sisters, Edna Bolton of New Albany and Carolyn Beasley of New Albany. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
