She is survived by: her children, Robert W. Coleman (Rob) and Cathy (Kelton); her grandchildren, Mark Coleman McClinton (Kay), Mary Catherine McClinton Porter (Brian), Robert Kenneth Coleman II (Molly), Laura Leigh Coleman Anderson (Chris), Marian Coleman Griggs (Joey), William Stovall Coleman (Anna Kate), Richard McKee Coleman (Harper) and Virginia Ann Coleman Wellman (Jonathan); her great grandchildren, Spradling Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Ann Clark Anderson, Kenneth Anderson, Ellie Griggs, Oliver Griggs, Collins Coleman, Sam Coleman, Benjamin Wellman and Clayton Porter; her sister-in-law Celia Fisher (Harvey); her nieces and nephews, Tina Scholtes (Robbie), Gail Stevens (Dean), Mary Beth Wilkerson (Jimmy), Jay McKee (Kim) and Randy Bishop; her great-niece Lyndie Bishop Were; and her cousin Janice Coleman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of New Albany (200 W Bankhead St, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of New Albany, 200 East Bankhead Street, New Albany, Mississippi 38652; or the Palmer Home for Children, 800 Baldwin Road South, Lake Cormorant, Mississippi 38641.
