She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert David and Ora Lou Bailey Hall; her husband Houston LaVaughn Brown; and her brothers, Charles David Hall and Talmadge Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Lou Tillman (David), Robin Dale Sojourner (Dale), Danny Houston Brown and Timothy Alan Brown (Leigh); her siblings, Larry LaDale Hall, Helen Jean Stubblefield (Sonny), Charlotte Ann Nix (Burt, Jr.), Betty Lou Livingston (Leon) and Debbie June O'Bryant (Larry); and her sister-in-law Edna Ruth Hall. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
