Mike Burks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, at the age of 65, Mike Burks of New Albany, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa Raines Burks; his son Joseph Clabe Burks (Audrey); his mother Ruby Hardy Burks; his sisters, Barbara Owens (Benny) and Brenda Hodges; his sister-in-law Melody Thompson (Dennis Bynum); his brother Richard Burks (Anna); his mother-in-law Glinda Raines; his brother-in-law Rafe Raines; his father William Hershal Burks; and his grandsons, Jasper Huck, Maverick Lewis and William Hace Burks. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Keownville Baptist Church (1601 MS-30, New Albany, MS 38652).
