He was predeceased by: his parents, Bent Towery and Mollie Crosby Towery; his wife Mary Ellen Baldwin Towery; and his son Thomas Towery. He is survived by: his children, Inez Page (Kenneth), Jean Page (late Oscar Page), Wanda Stroupe (Joey), Bernice Robbins, Jerry Towery (Brenda) and Billy Towery (Diane); and his close friend Ethel Oglesby. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
