She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. West and Helen Jewel Thornley; and her stepson James Gerald Hunt. She is survived by: her son James H. Ellis; her stepdaughter Ann Hunt; and her siblings, Harold West, Eddie West and Marcy West. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
