She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shelton and Bessie Zenna Bost McCutcheon; and her son Leonard Wayne Hicks. She is survived by: her husband Glenn Turnipseed; her daughter Rachel Hayes (Jerry); her stepdaughter Michelle Hale (JJ); her grandchildren, Shelby Hayes, Dustin Hayes, David Hicks, Akeem High, Tye Hale and Joshua Hicks; and her pet Tex.
