He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruff Johnson and Zana Mae Johnson (Letson); his wife Marion Ella Johnson (Roberts); and his sisters, Jewell Keck of Saltillo, MS and Jean Lucas of Memphis, TN..
He is survived by: his children, Barry Johnson, Sonia Johnson of Taylors, SC and Deigh Regnier of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Trey Johnson, Maegan Elam, Emilee Shelton and Spencer Rehn; his great grandchildren, Sutton, Finley Elam, Cassidy and Everly Shelton; and his sister Ruth Spearman of Saltillo, MS.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial gift may be sent to the National Aphasia Association.
