He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurie Gardner and Irene Elizabeth Frazier Gardner; his brother Ronald Gardner; and his nephew Scott McMillen. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McIntyre Gardner; his children, Johnathan Gardner (Kelly) and Laurie EJ Gardner; his stepchildren, Michael Wright (Pam) and Melissa Wright Logan (Brad); his siblings, Shelia McMillen (Bob) and Michael Gardner (Mary Nell); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Gardner, Evie Logan and Sam Logan.
