He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Howard and Virginia Staggs (Pennebaker). He is survived by: his children, Christy Lou Staggs Hill (James) and John Nathan Staggs (Amanda); his wife Lou Ann; his grandchildren, Matt and Mallory Hill; his sister Penny Ray (Roger); and his nieces and nephews, Drew and Travis. He is also survived by other nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude CRH in Memphis or First Methodist Church, New Albany.
