He was predeceased by: his parents, William Audie and Beulah Mae Bishop; his sons, Gill Ross and Travis Bishop; and his brother Frank Bishop.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bishop of New Albany; his children, Tamary McDonald of Blue Springs, Joy Ruth of Wallerville, Candace Roberts (Michael Moody) of New Albany and Russell Bishop of New Albany; and his siblings, Bessie Roberts, Delsie Williams, Nita Hamilton, Lucinda Hefner, Cathy Messer, Mary Sanderson, Travis Eugene Bishop, Steve Bishop, Leon Bishop, Walter Bishop, Kenneth Bishop and James Bishop. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
