With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jackson Herrington of New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on January 13, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Herrington, Sr. and Eudell Berry Herrington; and his siblings, Peggy H. Campbell, Leonard Herrington, Jr. and Anne Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Herrington; his children, Margaret Maxwell (Allen) and Jay Herrington (Tounia); and his grandchildren, Mary Dennis (Padrick), Ed Maxwell (Nicole), Anne Maxwell, Catherine Ann Davis (Parker), Elizabeth Harrison and Jack Herrington. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Methodist Church of New Albany, The Union County Library, or the charity of your choice.
