He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Troy Lee and Mary Ruby Hall Garrett; his wife Mildred Sloan Garrett; his children, Donna McMillen (Tim), Sandra Garrett and Mike Garrett (Regina); his brother Gerald Wayne Garrett (Marty); and his grandchildren, John Garrett (Cameal), Bo Garrett, Drew Garrett (Jamie), Audrea Stewart (Jimbo) and Ashley Moss (Brian). He was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, the family will be having a private family service and visitation.
