He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Whittington and Violet McDaniel Whittington; and his wife Patricia Nolley Whittington. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Whittington (Heather) and Greg Whittington; and his siblings, Linda Clark, Debbie Burleson and Mark Whittington. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
