She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Pannell and Hester May Manning Pannell; her sons, Charles, Joe and Robert Pickens; and her son-in-law John Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Stewart Guy Pickens; and her children, Debra Spivey, Vickey Allen and Jimmy Pickens. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
