He was predeceased by: his parents, L. Q. Bennett and Juanita Nutt Bennett; and his siblings, Maxine King, Patricia Jackson, Benny Harold and Bobby Arnold Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Betty McCullough Bennett; his children, Michelle Hill (Marcus), Kimberly Bennett and Kelly Bennett; and his siblings, Rose Courson and Ronnie Joe Bennett. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
