It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Demetria Walters of New Albany, Mississippi, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orven "O. B." Willard and I. C. Taylor Willard; her husband Charles H. Walters Jr.; her sons, Rickey Walters and David "Skip" Walters; her siblings, Lane Willard Nutt, Helen Willard Melton, James Richard Willard and O. B. Willard Jr.; and her brother-in-law Bobby Grant.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jeaneva Willard Grant, Carol Willard Tate (Ray), Kay Willard Azlin (Rayburn), Patsy Willard and Terry Willard (Diane); her daughters-in-law, Margaret and Shelly; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Nutt, Hershel Melton and Reba Willard. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
