She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Smithey and Susie B. Smithey; her son Mark Smithey (Nickie) of New Albany; and her siblings, Boyd Smithey, Helen Foreman, Bobby Smithey, Danny Smithey, Bill Smithey, James D. Smithey, Jr. and Rev. Mike Smithey.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Levi Bramlett, Meg Bramlett and Joseph Smithey; and her siblings, Waymon Smithey, Edna Keith, Joanne Diaz and Brenda Browning.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the United Funeral Service, Inc. (700 MS-15, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
