She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Joe P. Anderson; her parent Lucille Jones; her grandmother Martha A. High Pegues; her mother-in-law Velma Anderson; her granddaughter Makyla Whitlock; her aunt Mary Evans; and her siblings-in-law, Janie Ray, James Williams, Amos Williams and Willie B. Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Jones (Kayla) of Pontotoc, MS, Jason Sanders (Kelly) of Pontotoc, MS, Crystal Sanders of Pontotoc, MS, Christy Sanders (Raynon) of New Albany, MS, Reginald Hoyle (Shaunetta) of Ecru, MS, Anna Hoyle (Derek) of Hattiesburg, MS and Jermaine Doss (Shanna) of Tupelo, MS; her siblings-in-law, Sammie Williams (Channon), Mary Ezell, Myra Shields (Walter), Inez German (Cherelle) and Maria Dixon (Charles); and her friends, Alecia P. Peggen, Margarett K. Peters and Ruby F. Watkins. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (722 Coulter Dr, New Albany, MS 38652). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove M. B. Church (1356 Co Rd 121, New Albany, MS 38652).
