Zelma Whitehead Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zelma Whitehead (Nettleton, Mississippi), who passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Zoma Rye and Lula Duke Rye; her sister Connie Rye Grubbs; her brother-in-law Percy Grubbs; and her stepsiblings, Henry H. "Red" Rye, Zoma Gray Rye, James C. "Jimmy" Rye, Gladys Tucker Hester and Fay Tucker McMurry.
She is survived by: her husband Henry Neal Whitehead; her daughter Kay Whitehead of Belden; her nephew Ray Grubbs (Debra) of Ridgeland; and her great-nephew Michael of Charlottesville, VA. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
