He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Gray and Mary L. Hickman Gray; his daughter Tapatha Gray; his son-in-law Steve Adams; and his siblings, Gary Wayne Gray, Patricia and Carolyn Gray.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Gray; his daughters, Patricia Buckner (Bill) of Nettleton and Tina Adams of Nettleton; his sister Linda Terry; his grandchildren, Stephanie Adams, Trey Buckner and Haley Buckner; his great grandchildren, Will Buckner, Aiden Buckner and Presley Kelly; and his caregivers, Sherry Williams and Judy Dillard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
