In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Stephen Docquise had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Stephen Docquise may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Orlando Buchanan and Christie Lashanda Logan Manuel; and his siblings, Christopher Nickson, Sondra Spencer, Rebecca Miller (Rodney), Matika Nickson and Abby Wilson.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church (270 S Mullen Ave, Nettleton, MS 38858). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Baptist Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (10024 Baptist Grove Rd, Prairie, MS 39756).
