He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Bernon Wright and Annie Louise Wright (Lee); his wife Virginia Ann Wright; his sister Toni Kennedy; and his daughter Candy Ann Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Scottie Wright and Kristy Cates (David); his sisters, Pennie Sneed and Tarica Rowe (Jamie); his grandchildren, Cody Cates (Jasmine), Harley Cates (Noah) and Dixie Wright; and his great grandchildren, Reed Steele and River Cates.
