She was predeceased by: her parents, George Newman Horton and Lela Estelle Fowler Horton; her husband Harley Ellis Mattox Sr.; her children, Harley Ellis Mattox Jr., George Clayburn Mattox and Arlinda Gail Mattox; and her grandson Jesse James Mattox.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Louis Mattox, Harold Keith Mattox and Norman Matthew Mattox (Shelia); and her grandchildren, Newman Mattox, James Paul Mattox, Brandy Mattox, Christopher Ivy, Dustin Charles Collier, Lashaya Marie Collier and Heather Brooke Mattox. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and loyal friends.
