She was predeceased by: her son David; and her siblings, Herman, Hollis, Shorty, Jerry Edwards, Josephine Beasley, Ludie Payne, Joanne Payne and Judy Rushing.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Stanford (Jerry); her brother Jimmy Edwards (Judy); her daughter-in-law Gayla Reese; and her grandchildren, Rodney Stanford (Mitzi), Scott Stanford (Jessica), Sommer Reese and Shawn Reese. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
