He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Burroughs (Harlow) and Newman Burroughs; and his brothers, Billie Burroughs and Junior Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Vera Yvonne Burroughs; his sons, Ricky David Burroughs of Nettleton and Mark Carroll Burroughs (Angie) of Nettleton; and his sister-in-law Joanne Burroughs of Nettleton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren (and one on the way) and two nephews.
