He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy B. Gillentine and Lizzie Lee Gillentine (Prestage); his sons, Tommy Gillentine and Roy Gillentine; and his sister Catherine Ford.
He is survived by: his children, Joel Gillentine (Jessica) of Belden, Scarlett Gillentine of Tupelo and Angie Burroughs (Mark) of Nettleton; and his siblings, Larry Gillentine, Bobby Gillentine, Johnny Gillentine (J. C.) and Dorothy Culver. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
