He is survived by: his wife Shirley Harris; his children, Lonnie Harris, Sharon Allen (Brent), Felicia Allen (Jimmy) and Wendy Benson (Brandon); his great-niece Jessica Allred (Anthony); his nephew John Harris; and his great-nephew Jimmy Norris. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
