With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Maria Causey of Nettleton, Mississippi, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cook and Bunia Cook (Henson); her husband Charles Causey; and her siblings, Virgil Cool, Olen Cook, Arlen Cook, Merle Cook, Ruben Cook, Minnie Wesson and Mary Corin Cook.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherrie Causey Lofton of Tupelo; and her stepgranddaughters, Amy Hurley of Nettleton and Ashley Cole Byrd of Starkville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
