Dora Rye Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Rye (Nettleton, Mississippi), born in Smithville, Mississippi, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Woods and Lockie Irene Mattison Woods; her husband Giles Rye; and her siblings, George, Tom, Leon Woods and Pauline Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Bryan Rye of Hamilton, Dorothy Consalvi of Hamilton, Linda Whitaker of Amory and Mary Ann Jimenez of Richardson, TX; her siblings, Grafton Woods of Hamilton, MS and Margie Woods Griggs of Hamilton; and her grandchildren, Darrin Consalvi, Michelle Consalvi, Christina Consalvi, Leigh Anne Greggs, Stephen Dennis, Angelica Tindol, Alicia Boyd and Guillermo "JJ" Jimenez, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
