He was predeceased by: his parents, Evans McGhee and Nora Elaine Brewer McGhee; his brother Ray Evans McGhee; his sister-in-law Martha Kyle; and his stepson Jamie Halfacre.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara McGhee of Aberdeen; his children, Billy D. McGhee, Jr., Jimmy Ray McGhee (Amy) of Winfield, AL and Cynthia Elaine Christopher (Keith) of Cleveland, MS; his sisters, Carolyn Fowlkes (Wayne) and Deborah Ridings (Eddie); his siblings-in-law, Barbara McGhee and Billy Thompson (Cathy); his grandchildren, Nikki Escobar (Anthony), Emma McGhee, Savannah McGhee, Meagan Harris (Alex) and Kyle Christopher (Nikki); and his great grandchildren, Riley Escobar, Liam Sanchez, Haygen Dutton, River Ray McGhee, Eliza Harris and Royce Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
