It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Yvonne (Parker) Hamilton of Nesbit, Mississippi, who passed away on March 15, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosie Parker and Birtie Parker; her husband Lawrence Hamilton; her son Mike Hamilton; and her siblings, Jeanette Bonds, Gloria Baughman, Laura Stevenson, Miles Parker and Kenneth Parker.

She is survived by: her daughter Donna Hamilton Bussey (Johnny); her brother Larry Parker (Geraldine); her grandchildren, Jeremy Bussey and Ashley Bussey (Logan Freeman); and her great grandchildren, Jayden Bussey, Charlee Bussey, Maizie Bussey and Georgia Freeman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
