He was predeceased by: his parents, James David Sexton and Ada Donis Sexton; and his siblings, Harold Sexton, Mary Quejette Wallace, Troye Looney and Patricia Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Sexton; and his children, Marcus Sexton (Deanne Stupka), Marvin Sexton, Jr. and Marcia Carter (Terence Carter).
