He is survived by: his wife Hazel Gross Nelson of Nesbit, MS; his children, Julie Garrett (Doug) of Hoover, AL, Beth Moore (Paul Wayne) of Walnut Grove, MS, Shane Orrick (Tammy) of Starkville, MS and Heath Orrick of Alabama; his siblings, Regina Wages of Baldwyn, MS, Tim Nelson and Terry Nelson (Missy) of Baldwyn; and his grandchildren, Walker Garrett, Harper Garrett, Kevin Moore, Colby Moore, Makenzie Moore, Abby Johnson (Lane) and Braden Orrick.
