He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brown Smith; his children, Billy Smith III (Jessie) of Collierville, TN and Raegin Martin (Nat) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Hall, Ruth Anne, Lucy Jane Smith and Sloane Martin; and his sisters, Claire Elliott (late Horace) and Lynne Cunningham (Jack).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Olivet United Methodist Church in Pulaski, Tennessee or Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi.
