She is survived by: her children, Court, Hattie R. Marshall, Edith Brinkley Chapter, Barry W. Gibson (Katherine) and Debra G. Thomas (Larry); her daughter-in-law Karen D. Gibson; her brothers, Willie Earl Brooks, Jerome Brooks (Sharolyn) and Charles Rawlins (Patricia); and her siblings-in-law, Kurt Whitney and Dorothy Campbell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
