She was predeceased by: her parents, John Everett Franklin Elledge and Frances Louise Langley; her husband Walter Legette Sandel; and her children, Lisa Louise Sandel and Walter Legette Sandel, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Michelle Murphy (Brian Murphy) of Davie, FL.
