He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shirley Brown of Washington and James Edward Brown; his brother Daniel Carter; his grandparents, Eddie, Estelle Malone of Washington, Isom and Josephine Collins Brown; his wife Dornedia Booker Brown; his children, VasShun Newborne (Shaneiqua) and KaTonya Floyd; his siblings, Willie Brown (Kathy), Thomas Brown (Sandra), Larry Brown (Brenda), Wayne Minor, Richard Fleming, Betty Patterson (Milton), Wanda Summerhill, Mary Williams (Earnest), Eddie Smith (Charles) and Velma Lawson (Zeno); and his grandchildren, Kaimon Shaw, Va'Shira Newborne and Va'Khyra Newborne.
