She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Howard Tarver and Mary Louise McCaleb Tarver; and her siblings, Betty Anne Tarver Britt, George David Tarver and Benjamin Edward Tarver.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Clay Scott of Natchez, MS; and her brothers, William John Tarver of Pearl, MS and Daniel Howard Tarver (Alice Magee Tarver) of Natchez, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
