He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillie Pearl Cotton Ware and Ed Ware, Sr.; and his siblings, Moses Ware, Tina Fitzgerald, Bowser Ware, Clara Franklin, Ed Ware, Jr. and Isabelle Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Dr. Sarah Mazique Ware; his daughter Monique Ware Ellis (Corey, Sr.); his stepson Kendrick Cameron (Lakesha Mitchell); his sister Alberta Ware Selmon; his sisters-in-law, Daisy Jackson Ware and Mamie Mazique Humphrey; and his grandchildren, Coriyanna, Corey, Jr., Kaylianna and Kennedy Ellis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
